We strive for this church to be a body of God's people where each person is being continually transformed into the likeness of Jesus Christ. Jesus gives us direction for modeling our lives to walk in his footsteps, and produces a passion for changing lives into what God desires His people to be.

The Garden Ridge Standards are core values for living a Christian life, challenging us daily to become more like Jesus.
OUR STANDARD FOR LIFE IS THE WORD OF GOD AND HIS NATURE.
We entrust ourselves to God’s ways, using the Bible and holding it as truth and wisdom while trusting the leading of the Holy Spirit.
WE ARE KNOWN FOR WHAT WE ARE FOR.
We will speak hope, life and love over people. We will lift up Jesus and His ways, rather than condemning or advancing personal agenda.
WE ARE PEACEMAKERS WHO STRIVE FOR UNITY.
Because our LORD is the Prince of Peace, we will accept His mission and share His attitude of loving-kindness to all people.
WE PLACE A HIGHER PRIORITY ON HOLINESS THAN HAPPINESS.
In a culture that seeks happiness above all else, we choose to be set apart for God rather than the pursuit of worldly happiness.
WE GO ABOVE AND BEYOND IN GENEROSITY.
We will be intentional about giving our time, talents, and resources to the work of God because we believe it is truly more blessed to give than to receive.

Because our God is a covenant God and it is “not good for man to be alone,” we choose to live in community with all who follow Jesus.

We are motivated by the Great Commission and compassion for the lost to be proactive in serving and teaching in order to reveal Christ to those who do not know Him.
Our Beliefs
BECOMING A CHRISTIAN
We believe that Jesus sacrificially died on the cross for the penalty of our sins and that God raised Him from the dead. We believe that it is by God’s grace that we are saved through our response of faith in Jesus as the Son of God.
Every person capable of faith is called by God to accept Jesus as Savior, repent of all sins, turn their life toward God, make a confession of faith in Jesus as Lord and be united to Christ and his church by receiving baptism by immersion.
Having responded in faith, our past sins are forgiven and we receive God’s Holy Spirit to live in us and empower us to live holy and righteous lives.
COMMUNION
We observe this memorial of Jesus' death, burial and resurrection every Sunday and welcome all baptized believers to participate.
OFFERINGS
In response to God's gracious gifts to us, members offer financial support for carrying out God's mission for the church. Guests are not expected to contribute but are welcome to do so.
